Dear Patients,
The autumn season is full of football Friday nights, crunchy leaves, and pumpkin scented everything. Unfortunately, many people won’t be able to enjoy these simple pleasures.
Rather than stressing over which fresh-off-the-rack sweater to wear to the community bonfire, victims of breast cancer are thinking about their next round of chemo treatment or radiation.
Breast cancer affects so many people in our community, which is why our practice is going the extra mile to make a difference. During the entire month of October, for every patient who requests pink bands for their braces, we will donate $5 to the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research. The Stefanie Spielman Fund at OSU helps further support breast cancer research and aids in finding a cure.
So many people each year are affected by breast cancer, and we wanted to find a way to contribute to the fight to find a cure. Not only are our doctors and staff motivated to make a difference, but we have loved seeing our patients rally for this amazing cause by requesting a pink smile. This involves the community at large, while supporting everyone affected by this destructive disease.
Won’t you join us in the fight to end breast cancer by requesting a pink smile? Many of our patients, families, staff members, and friends have been deeply impacted by this disease and we feel privileged to help any way we can. So this October, I hope that when you visit our practice, you will “Think Pink.”
Warmest,
Dr. James T. Hutta & Dr. Jeffery A. Price
