Dr. Hutta, Dr. Price, and their team love to get involved and give back to the community. According to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, 1 in 8 women will be affected by breast cancer in her lifetime.
Recognizing what those statistics say about the likelihood of breast cancer affecting their own patients and their families, Drs. Hutta and Price have chosen to fundraise for cancer research efforts.
Over the past few years, Dr. Hutta has been the proud donor of thousands of dollars to the Stefanie Spielman Fund for breast cancer. Stefanie Spielman was a young woman from northeast Ohio who was merely 30 years old when she was first diagnosed with breast cancer. Although she would live for only another ten years, Stefanie became a nationally recognized advocate for breast cancer awareness and medical advancement. You can read her story in full here.
Hutta & Price Orthodontics wants to continue their partnership with the Stefanie Spielman Fund this year, so throughout the month of October, they will donate $5.00 to the Stefanie Spielman Fund for breast cancer research for every patient who gets pink O-rings on his or her braces.
If our patients want to make an even bigger difference, we encourage them to upload a photo of themselves beaming with their pink braces. For every photo uploaded, we will make another donation!
Turn your smile pink for a great cause and contribute to the fight against breast cancer!
