We are always excited about meeting new patients during their first visit to our office. During your complimentary first visit you will receive an office tour, meet with Marylee or Teresa, our Treatment Coordinators, and Dr. Hutta will examine you to determine your personal orthodontic needs. Using our state-of-the-art computer imaging system, photos and diagnostic information will be collected, compiled, and analyzed to aid in determine your preliminary diagnosis. We will provide a complete clinical diagnosis regarding the nature of the problem, a written summary of the findings and a detailed plan that outlines your treatment, goals and estimated fees.

We understand that each patient’s orthodontic treatment is different, and we promise to give you the personal attention you deserve. We will discuss with you your potential treatment options and if initial treatment is not determined at this time, we will schedule future complimentary visits to keep your teeth under observation until you are ready to begin treatment. We encourage questions from both the patient and the parent, where appropriate, and we will provide ample time to answer your questions.

If treatment is indicated, you will decide which style of contemporary braces you prefer, and our staff will work with you to coordinate your visits to our office. Treatment will begin with a diagnostic record of the teeth and jaws. This includes:

• Digital facial x-rays
• Digital hand/wrist x-rays (if needed)
• A complete medical and dental history

Our office uses all digital x-ray equipment that substantially reduces radiation to the patient. Digital imaging provides clear and crisp images that allow Dr. Hutta to precisely evaluate the individuals of needs of each patient.

For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Please ask us about financing options, credit card payments and bank drafts. We thoroughly explain and personalize your options so that we can accommodate your needs.

Insurance

If your insurance company covers orthodontic treatment we will work with you to maximize your insurance benefit. To help us with your insurance filing please complete our insurance questionnaire. We will be happy to check your insurance benefits for you.

If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. Remember that insurance policies vary, and we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action. Once treatment has started, we will file your claims for you. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges.
